Methodology

Vitaei evaluates longevity interventions using a structured, evidence-based framework.

Evidence Tiers

Tier I — Randomised controlled trials (RCTs) in humans with longevity-relevant endpoints.
Tier II — Human observational studies, non-randomised trials, or strong mechanistic evidence with human biomarker data.
Tier III — Preclinical (animal or in vitro) evidence only. No direct human data.

Hallmark Mapping

Each molecule and intervention is mapped to one or more of the 12 Hallmarks of Aging as defined by López-Otín et al. (2023). Assignments are reviewed quarterly by the Vitaei editorial board.

Editorial Standards

Vitaei does not accept sponsored content. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on all product pages. Evidence summaries are updated when new high-quality trials are published. All content is reviewed for accuracy before publication.
