How Vitaei evaluates and ranks longevity interventions based on scientific evidence.
Every molecule in the Vitaei index is assigned one of three evidence tiers based on the quality and quantity of human research.
Multiple randomized controlled trials in humans demonstrating efficacy. Gold standard for safety and efficacy. Examples: Metformin, Vitamin D3, Omega-3.
Early-stage human trials or observational studies showing promise. Requires further validation. Examples: NMN, Rapamycin, Spermidine.
Strong mechanistic evidence or animal studies, but limited human data. Promising but speculative. Examples: Fisetin, Urolithin A.
Each intervention is mapped to the 12 hallmarks of aging it addresses, based on peer-reviewed literature.
DNA damage and repair defects
Chromosome end shortening
DNA methylation changes
Protein misfolding and aggregation
Energy production decline
Growth arrest and inflammation
Regenerative capacity loss
Signaling pathway disruption
mTOR/AMPK imbalance
Dysbiosis and inflammation
Cellular cleanup failure
Inflammaging
Prices are calculated as cost per active milligram per day, based on verified vendor pricing and recommended dosing.
Price/day = (Product cost / mg of active ingredient) × recommended daily dose
All products listed meet minimum purity standards verified by third-party testing (USP, NSF, or equivalent).
